I fell in love with photography at a young age because of my grandparents. My Grandpa Raymond was always letting me play with his GRR camera (what we called Polaroids), and my other grandparents were always showing me old black and white photos from days gone by. It wasn’t until I stumbled upon the blog of Jasmine Star (yes, I am Blog years old) that I knew I just had to be a photographer. I started pouring myself into Google and YouTube to learn everything I could about digital photography, and I started taking family photos for everyone I knew around Des Moines.

Since then, I’ve continued to learn and grow, evolving into a wedding photographer. I also love photographing senior portraits and supporting businesses, especially small businesses, through my work with corporate headshots and event photography. A lot of my work is weddings, which I have grown to love so much creatively while also embracing the chaos that goes with it, that I am now offering wedding videography as well. My favorite thing about it all is that I get to give my clients the gift of joy and beautiful memories, and on the personal side of things, I still get to live a smaller town life with my family that I love and also get to be a photographer in Des Moines for my 9-5 (plus a lot of a blood, sweat, and tears on the evenings and weekends).
